Baton Rouge & N'Awlins

I took a week off to visit my sister in Baton Rouge and we drove down to New Orleans for a couple of days. This is such a special part of the country. I love it. The people, the architecture, the history. Even the air feels a little different. But most importantly the food. The food is FANTASTIC. It seems like all we did is eat! I didn't shoot as much as I wanted. I never do. But I did use my old canon AE-1. I love old film cameras. Here are a few images.

I'm so behind on my blogging.......again. This summer has been so beautiful that all I want to do is be outside in my free time. Regardless, I need to be better about blogging!!

A couple of months ago I photographed the most beautiful family. These two girls were so energetic and so much fun.

The family wanted a few studio style photographs so we set up a little outdoor studio. This was a little out of my comfort zone since it's not really my style but I'm so glad I did. They turned out fabulous and totally different than most of my work.
